Never do there 3 things in Japan!
Nowadays, we live in a global village. For example, you may see one-third of passengers on the subway are foreigners.
However, customs in the city are still very important.
If you want to be respected in Japan, never do these 3 things!
一. Don`t be loud in public place
Japan is a quiet country. Especially in public place, Japanese people would not like to hear gossip or noise on the subway, bus, JR,etc..Recently, you even can see the warning banner as 「Be careful of the voice from your earphone, in order not to bother the others. 」. Be careful when taking the transportation in Japan.
二.Don`t bring and eat your own food in the restaurant, department store or convenience store.
If you bring and eat your own food in the restaurant, may let the owner feel you are using their seat and don`
t respect the chief. And it's rude to eat in a department or convenience store. Because it will influence customers' emotion and the whole atmosphere of the place.
三.Do classify the trash and put it in the right place
In Japan, there are combustible trash, noncombustible trash, resource trash and big refuse. And every city has its own place and schedule for trash recycle. If you don`t classify the trash and put it in the wrong place, you may get some criminal trouble.
Respect is mutual, if you want to live a better life in Japan, start respecting its culture!
